Reviewer’s Thoughts

Oh My Goodness! Ms. Daniels has truly outdone herself this time! I was immediately drawn into the intrigue and suspense of the story. I absolutely loved every word of it!

Rourke is following up on cold cases of a serial killer that lead him to a small Montana town and face-to-face with Callie, a waitress and person of interest in the murders. Callie captivated Rourke the first time he saw her picture in the case files and needs to know more about this haunting beauty.

Rourke knows he can be impartial and follow the lead without falling for Callie, despite his former partner’s objections. But as Rourke spends time with Callie, his impartiality ends up out the windows as lines blur and the determined marshal can’t distinguish between the facts and his growing feelings for the lovely waitress.

Callie has premonitions. They are unpredictable and hard to control. So when a tall, dark and handsome stranger walks into her restaurant, her unusual ability warns her of great danger. The longer this cowboy is in town, the stronger her premonition grows. Rourke seems to mute it when she’s in his arms, but she knows he hasn’t been honest with her, but that’s the least of her worries. Is Rourke the one brining danger to Callie’s doorstep or will his association with her make him the victim of her deadly foresight?

This is an incredibly brilliant story with wonderfully supportive secondary characters and intricately woven storylines. I was on the edge of my seat the entire book and just could not put it down. The author kept me guessing until the very end.

The thriller effect of the book literally gave me goose bumps. Something wicked this way comes in Beartooth, Montana and I invite you all to check out a story so  masterfully compelling that it will leave you breathless, speechless and desperate for more!
