Doms Javier Durante and Garrett Raleigh each dated Renata Fontanette before she left for college, but she never planned to return. Her plans changed, and now Renata is back and working at Phoebe’s Playthings. The men are only too happy to pursue her again.

But their first outing with her reveals disturbing news. A Santeria practitioner has come to Sybaris Cove to help lift the curse on the Raleigh and Durante families. But there’s a catch. A descendant of Faith Fontanette, the woman who was sacrificed as a boon when the original curse was cast, must die. Renata is Faith’s only living descendant.

When the moment comes to summon the demons and ask for the curse to be lifted, Javier and Garrett offer an alternative solution. They would rather be cursed for eternity than give up the woman they love.

Will it be good enough to finally end the curse, or have they sealed the fate of both families forever?

Kenna’s Thoughts

This final edition of the “Doms of Sybaris Cove” series was immensely satisfying, and I’m a happy woman right now.  I’m not happy that the series is ending, because I truly loved it, but because I knew that the end was coming, and I was almost worried about how it would all tie together.  Would it be up to my expectation?  Would it do the ongoing story justice?  I needn’t have worried.  “Midnight Fantasy” was the perfect way to end the series.  Tara Rose really came through here, and she gave me exactly what I wanted.

I’m not a spoiler kind of person, so I’m going to leave most of the plot to the blurb.  Let me just say that Javier, Garrett, and Renata make a wonderful triad.  They fit together like a glove…or three gloves.  They have chemistry to spare.  They knew each other (and both men dated Renata as well) from high school, and when she returned to Dybaris Cove, they were able to find their way back to each other.  It happens rather quickly, but it doesn’t feel very rushed.  They have a history, so the early intimacy isn’t a surprise.  I loved reading the sex scenes.  They were intense, but they were also very tender.  I have to admit that I read them all three times each, hehe.  I fell hard for Javier and Garrett.  With the exception of my husband, I don’t think that men like them don’t really exist…only in fantasy and fiction.

Along with the romance, there is that ongoing mystery that has been plaguing Sybaris Cove since the beginning.  The Raleighs and the Durantes were cursed, and there have been clues as to who placed it and how it may be lifted.  It’s just so good, and Tara wrote it so smoothly, and I want to tell you all about it SO BAD, but I don’t want to ruin it for you.  As I said, I’m very satisfied.  Everything wrapped up so well.  I wasn’t sure how she was going to do it, but wow!  I didn’t see it coming at all, and it gave me goosebumps and made me cry.  The supernatural elements mixed with the “real life” of every triad…and resident of Sybaris Cove came together to make an explosive climax (hehe…I said climax…hehe) that I was absolutely thrilled with.

Please, please read “Midnight Fantasy”.  Remember it is the ninth story of the series, so you really need to start at the beginning.  If you try to read it as a stand alone, you’ll probably be lost and confused.  However, the series is incredible, so you won’t be sorry if you start at the first.  Tara Rose never disappoints.

About Tara Rose

Tara Rose loves to write about small towns and the quirky people that inhabit them. You’ll find engaging characters, budding romance, intrigue and plenty of hot steamy ménage sex within the pages of her books. You never really know what goes on behind closed doors, but her books will take you there, and leave you panting for more.

When she isn’t writing, Tara spends time with her husband—her real-life hero. She loves to cook, collect antique pottery, and she will read just about anything. Tara also plays the cello, and loves decorating her house for Christmas.
