Reviewer’s Thoughts

The conclusion of this four part serial had so much to live up to. The prior three parts had us biting our nails, gripping our seats and sighing at the romance in no particular order. At times doing all three within pages of each other. Of course, Ms. Grant does not disappoint.

Jason has proven himself time and again to be evil incarnate. He will do anything he deems necessary to achieve his nefarious goals. Things aren’t any different now. Except this time he comes face to face with Malcolm who is determined not to let him escape again. And we all know how determined those warriors can be.

It’s difficult not giving away too much information when I want to shout out loud about the unfairness of the way Malcolm is treated by his own kin, even though their reactions are justified to a point. And my happiness that he has finally found someone who cares for him the way he deserves to be cared for. But I will refrain from doing so. All I can say is that this nail-biter of a conclusion was worth the wait.
