Reviewer’s Thoughts

I just LOVE how the author takes the ancient world of Scotland and co-mingles it with the modern world.  It is a perfect cocktail for a great story.  Especially when creatively written characters are added in to the mix.  In this instance, those characters are Charon and Laura.  Charon is a loner – someone who prefers no attachments and basking in his loneliness.  He’s been charged with protecting a village, but when it’s threatened by a Druid, Laura confides in Charon and he must choose between winning his charged battle and saving the woman who holds his heart.

The romance between Charon and Laura is classic.  A hero sworn to protect at all costs is faced with the ultimate tough choice – keep his sworn promise or sacrifice everything for true love.  It’s sexy, romantic and exciting – just what you would expect in a Warrior themed story.  It’s written well, is very creative and definitely a book worth reading.
