midnight's temptationEver since that fateful night, he can’t stop thinking about her. A timeless beauty in a nightclub, she moved across the dance floor like an angel, surrendering to the music—and casting a spell that could only be magic. When Phelan took her in his arms and kissed her, the Highlander knew this was no ordinary woman. This was a Druidess who could fulfill his every desire—or destroy him completely…

She is a mystery—a woman on the run, hunted by two different men. As much as she longs to be captured by the magnificent warrior Phelan, she knows she must resist the temptation. A vengeful evil is stalking her, watching her every move—a madman who will stop at nothing to possess her power. Once, she sold a piece of her soul for magic. Is she willing to risk Phelan’s life, and give up her heart…for love?

Reviewer’s Thoughts

From the start of this book, Aisley and Phelan are obviously destined for one another.  The moment Phelan sees her he must have her and spends all of his time caught up in the mystery of her, in the intrigue.  Through adversity and evil, the courageous warrior follows his heart and the beautiful woman who has captured it.

I absolutely loved the give and take of this story.  The need and the desire for one another was intoxicating and Phelan’s chase for Aisley kept the story exciting.  Both stubborn and strong, their independence and lack of trust keeps them apart for most of the book, but in the end, we’re given the pleasure of seeing them finally become a couple – hope leaping through the pages.

The book itself is very well written – fast paced and thrilling.  It’s a fairly quick read, considering its length, and it leaves you eager to move on to the next book in the series.
