I have really enjoyed reading this entertaining series about sexy fighter pilots.  All the guys have a strong bond and care about each and they also enjoy giving each other a hard time. This is the third installment in the Wild Aces series and is a standalone but all the characters are interconnected.

This is Dani’s story. She is sweet and innocent and has always been there for everyone.  Unfortunately, her husband, Joker dies in his F16 and it devastates her and Dani struggles to make it through each day.  She goes through an emotional journey as she mourns the death of Joker and she doesn’t know what to do or how to move forward.

Alex, call name Easy, has loved Dani from the moment he first saw her but he has kept his feelings hidden because she was married to Joker, his best friend.  Easy has a reputation as a manwhore.  He lives his life on the edge; he likes flying, women and parties.  He also has layers and is deeper than he lets on but he keeps that side hidden from everyone.  Even though Easy is the wildest of the group and is always ready to have a good time, he would give it all up for Dani.  At first, he tries to distance himself from Dani but finds that difficult when he sees how much she is suffering.

I liked the storyline and the characters and I wanted Easy and Dani to be together.  However, Easy is so wracked with guilt, that it takes a long time for them to work everything out.  Easy keeps giving Dani mixed signals and it confuses her and hurts her feelings.  He loves Dani but is afraid to tell her and Dani is still upset about her husband’s death and doesn’t know what she wants. So they keep going back and forth throughout the book.  Honestly, I wish they could have worked things out sooner.  I still enjoyed the story and it was fun catching up, with everyone and I can’t wait to read more books in this series.
