Doms and marketing executives Arizona Durante and Dallas Raleigh believe it’s unrealistic that two Doms can share a woman’s affections plus her submission. So Arizona’s sister, Lucie, challenges them to share her employee Celina Vallee for one week and not fall in love. They refuse citing cruelty and deceit, although in secret both men have had fantasies about Celina for years.

When Celina overhears her name offered up as the challenge, she persuades Arizona and Dallas to allow her to help them win the bet, no strings attached, just to spite Lucie. Celina has always had a secret crush on both men, and doesn’t want to pass up her chance for one week with them both.

But during that week, Celina is offered a job in New Orleans that includes the opportunity to pursue her career dreams. There’s just one catch. Arizona and Dallas are bound by an ancient curse that prevents them from ever leaving the island.

This is an expanded version of the previously free story only available on the Bookstrand Ap.  I loved it then, and I love it now.  “One Week In Paradise” is the prequel of the “Doms of Sybaris Cove” series.  It basically sets up what all of the following books will be about, but it doesn’t spend TOO much time on that.  It is a gentle nudge toward what was an excellent story that takes place within nine subsequent books, but the true focus of the story is the formation of a very sweet menage relationship between Celina, Arizona, and Dallas.

These three people have a fantastic chemistry.  Tara Rose is so good at creating triads that are romantic, but hot.  Oh, and have I mentioned that they’re into BDSM?  I can’t even tell you how sexy the scenes are.  Arizona and Dallas are very tender with Celina, but above all, they’re Doms, and they are VERY good at what they do, and we’re not talking about a little spanking here, or a little flogging there.  There is a lovely St. Andrew’s cross, and Celina is introduced to a well and proper Dom (s)/sub dynamic.  Everything was safe, sane, and consensual, and it was made very clear that safewords were intact, and Celina was free to use them if she needed to.  I think I made a reference to their scenes being hot.  I’m not kidding you.  I’ve read a lot of BDSM stories in my time, but this is absolutely one of the very best.

I’m not going to go into the story with any spoilers.  The blurb sums it all up.  Here in the expanded version there is more detail in some of the scenes and a delightful prologue that made me smile.  It made me want to be there with them and experience what they were going through alongside them.  THAT’S a sign of a great book.  Tara is very good at creating a world, and she gives details that really bring the story alive, but it’s not overwhelming.  You’re not getting weighed down by too much description so you can’t get into the meat of the plot.  Every character in this book, and the following books in the series, is necessary to the ongoing mystery.  And believe me.  It’s an awesome mystery!  Usually, I can figure out what is going to happen within minutes of cracking open a book, but with these ones?  It took me every single one of them to figure out what was going on, and it all came together in a very satisfying climax.

I very highly recommend that you pick up this book, especially if you’ve already read the whole series.  There are things that you didn’t get to see with the free story, and it’s VERY worth the .99 cents it is going for now.  Go for it.  Immerse yourself into the world of Sybaris Cove.

About Tara Rose

Tara Rose loves to write about small towns and the quirky people that inhabit them. You’ll find engaging characters, budding romance, intrigue and plenty of hot steamy ménage sex within the pages of her books. You never really know what goes on behind closed doors, but her books will take you there, and leave you panting for more.

When she isn’t writing, Tara spends time with her husband—her real-life hero. She loves to cook, collect antique pottery, and she will read just about anything. Tara also plays the cello, and loves decorating her house for Christmas.
