Cocktails and Books received this book for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect our opinion of the book or the content of our review.

A 20 year old secret and one to many brushes with death lure Ben Lowell hope to face his past. As a teen he committed a horrible crime and left his young brother to face the consequences. Now he returns home to correct his mistakes and repair his relationship with his brother. His path towards redemption leads him to meet Lola Monroe. Lola is everything he wants in his life, but before they even have time to explore there relationship a threat from his time overseas puts everyone he has come to consider family at risk. I loved everything about this book, danger, love and a whole lot of suspense.
