Shadow Hunter

Vampire hunter Damon Brock’s first assignment with the Execution Underground is Rochester, New York, a city crawling with the undead. But he isn’t the only hunter in town gunning for vamp blood. Tiffany Solow is fierce and ruthless when it comes to slaying the monsters that destroyed her family-and she works solo. But being alone is no longer so desirable when she meets the mysterious hunter who wants more than just her turf. As they work to massacre the local covens, the line between good and evil blurs when they are forced to decide between their lifelong beliefs… and their newfound hearts.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

Shadow Hunter is in the Execution Underground Series, #0.5 prequel to Twilight Hunter

Damon Brock a member of the EU, Execution Underground, He is a vampire hunter by training and trade. After loosing his partner Mark during a take down Damon requests to be reassigned to Rochester from NYC so that he can hunt down the vamp and avenge Mark. The only drawback to this plan is if he runs into Marks sister he has been writing to her for years but they have never met and now she blames him for her brothers death.

Tiffany Solow, Marks sister, has been using all her free time to hunt down the vampire that killed her brother, she has managed to infiltrate the inner circle of the vampire and is looking for the chance to take him out. That’s when she runs into a vampire hunter for the EU, could he have know Mark? Does he know who B is?

Shadow Hunter starts out with action and it never stops, it is a novella length book that is packed with vampire slaying, humans being eaten and hot steamy sex scenes. The sexual tension also starts from almost the beginning and we don’t have to wait long for it to explode kinda like the vamps when they are staked. We have several plot lines going at ones and it is a face paced and fun book with a HUGE cliff hanger ending.
