First in a new series—welcome to the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club, where hard bodies and hot leather are made for each other, and love gone wrong is the most irresistible of all...
“I was the demon-possessed monster and she was the innocent, naïve angel. But none of that matters. She asks, I give and right now, I'll kill anyone who tries to stop me from giving this woman what she wants—me.”
Dirk lives in the shadows—performing hits, maintaining order, and upholding the no-holds-barred legacy of the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club. A nomad with a restless spirit and a cold heart, the open road is his world. One of the few constants in his life: his desire for the one woman who has consumed his thoughts for years.   Saylor Samson grew up far from the harshness of Dirk’s world. But ever since she was seventeen she’s been drawn to this dark and mysterious man who always seemed to show up just when she needed him.   After years of fated encounters, he’s back. This time he’s taking her. This time she’s ready for the ride. But just when the darkness in Dirk’s life begins to fade, Saylor reveals a secret that puts them both to the ultimate test. Now, Dirk has to make a decision: submit to his destiny with the MC, or choose his own.

When I finished Sinner’s Creed, I didn’t know what to do with myself.  To say this book gave me a book hangover isn’t enough.  I couldn’t put into words how I felt at that moment maybe a little lost, sad, happy, pained, or heartbroken.  Or all of the above.  This book brought out so many emotions I had a hard time thinking about anything else after finishing. This isn’t your typical MC or romance novel and believe me when I say that is a really good thing.

I have never read Kim Jones but I had heard good things so I decided to give Sinner’s Creed a try.  I learned she actually lives the MC life which intrigued me.  Would she romanticize it or would she lay it out for us.  She wrote a beautiful story that I believe really tells some truth of the MC life but amongst all of that was a beautiful love story that literally left me in tears.

Dirk Dixon is a Sinner’s Creed nomad, a traveling hit man for the organization and he lives his life with no remorse.  He lives for himself and his MC. His bacground story is hard to read and of course shapes who he is in the story.  He has lived a gritty and lonely life but he is loyal to his MC to a fault.

Dirk meets Saylor randomly throughout the years almost as if they are destined to find each other.  She is young and beautiful with an unknown past. She is a happy, loving character which is in stark contrast to Dirk.  They are true opposites.  The chemistry between the two is instant but the funny thing is neither of them have had any real true happiness in their lives until they find each other.

We are introduced to Dirk’s best friend Shady and some of the other secondary characters and I am loving the world building for the next book in the series and then WHAM….the story takes a turn that I was actually a bit unprepared for and it broke me.  I cried and my husband asked if I was ok a few times.  I was heartbroken and I had every bit of faith that everything would right itself and it.  It wasn’t conventional but the end of this book is a beautiful ending to a hard to forget love story.  This book absolutely could not end any other way.  Bravo Kim Jones….for first time out of the gate with you about broke me but it was so worth it.
