Review: Sniper Fire – Kathy Lane

Posted October 26, 2014 by Cocktails and Books in Reviews / 0 Comments

After nearly losing his leg to sniper fire, Kyle Fagan knows his days in special ops are over. All he wants to do is hole up in his house and ignore the rest of the world. But ignoring Dr. Farrah Hastings is something Kyle is finding difficult to do, especially since being alone with the good doctor might just be the medicine he needs.

Farrah can’t stand the thought of Kyle giving up. When her warm affection for him ignites into something much hotter after just one kiss, she finally understands why. Now nothing will stand in her way of prying Kyle out of his depression, not a forest fire, not an escaped criminal, not even Kyle himself.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

I am so glad I picked this book to read, it was gripping right from the beginning. Β It started out intense and it just got better the further you read into the story. Β The Author did a fantastic job with all of the character development and the story line. Β It held my interest from the start to the finish, I couldn’t put it down at all.

Kyle and Farrah are amazing together, from the minute she saves his life to the end of the story, the chemistry between them is so real, so passionate and there is an incredible amount of love between the two of them that it makes your heart beat that much faster. Β They have a history and that just adds fuel to the passion they feel for one another. Β It takes them some time to act on their feelings but when they finally do it is hot and worth it. Β I loved how Farrah would not give up on Kyle and how she was so persistent in trying to get through to him. Β He was one stubborn alpha male but she was a good match for him in so many ways. Β She brought out the best in him, and he brought out a side of her that was endearing.

I absolutely would recommend this book! Β The writing was fantastic and the words flowed on the pages and kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. Β I just wished it was longer, I would not have complained if I could have read more about Kyle and Farrah and their relationship. Β I am really hoping that the author is going to write some more about some of the other characters that are introduced in this book as well as some more of Kyle and Farrah. Β Pick this book up if you get a chance you will not be disappointed at all.
