I really don’t know where to start when discussing Spring Forward.
This is an interesting take on second chances both in life and romance with likeable characters and a mischievous pet. I appreciated the fact that Ms. Anderson showed emotional growth for several characters and left everyone better off than how we initially found them.
That said, I had a hard time becoming invested in the story. There are really three interconnected story lines happening at once and there were times when I would be starting to get invested in one part of the story and then the focus would shift. The pace of the story is also fairly slow and there were times when I felt the characters were over explaining their moral stand points.
Spring Forward is a decent book and would probably be a great book for the right reader. Unfortunately, I don’t think I am that reader. This is a book that I just did not click with.
