Ever dream of being something other than what everyone expects of you? Such is Piper’s dilemma, trained from birth to be the next Seductorian. Piper longs for more than an eternal life of random sexual pleasure with men who care nothing for her. She dreams of true love and finding a Soul Mate.

Being that our heroine is a succubus, I expected loads of sparks and sexual tension and I wasn’t disappointed. What I did not expect was the author’s detailed emotional development of the love/hate relationship between Piper and Connor that had me wondering if they could make this relationship work.

The second book in her Veil series, Avet gives us as much heat as she does gut wrenching drama. Succubus in Waiting makes up for the lack of action we have come to expect from the previous book in the series with with and emotional connection rarely found in erotic romances. Love, sexual tension and enough drama and action to keep you on the edge of your seat, Succubus-in-Waiting will not disappoint.
