Seduction has never been so sweet! The New York Times bestselling author of the Cold Fury series—Alex, Garrett, Zack, and Ryker—returns with the first novel in a hot new trilogy.
“Sawyer Bennett never fails to deliver heroes I fall hard for and heroines I adore,” raves Violet Duke. Now the bestselling author of the Cold Fury series proves that vengeance is sweet—but seduction is to die for.

Sela Halstead lost her innocence in a way that no sixteen-year-old should ever have to endure. She’s spent years trying to forget that night even while wondering about the identities of the monsters who brutalized her—until a telltale tattoo flashes across Sela’s TV screen. The incriminating ink belongs to Jonathon Townsend, the millionaire founder of The Sugar Bowl, a website that matches rich older men with impressionable young women. Obsessed with revenge, Sela infiltrates Townsend’s world, only to come face-to-face with a tantalizing complication: Beckett North, his charismatic business partner.
The tech mastermind behind The Sugar Bowl, Beck always gets what he wants, in business and in bed. And yet, for a man who’s done every dirty thing imaginable, there’s something about the naïve, fresh-faced Sela that sparks his hottest fantasies. Because with her, it’s not just about sex. Beck opens up to her in ways he never has with other girls. So why does he get the feeling that she’s hiding something? In a world of pleasure and power, the shocking truth could turn them against each other—or bind them forever.
Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free!

I’m a huge fan of Sawyer Bennett’s books and this series is a new favorite.  She has taken a newsworthy story and turned it into a dark, twisted tale of revenge and possibly even a little romance.  This book is not overly dark but their are some aspects of it that are.  Sugar Daddies and Sugar Babies is a trend that has popped up in the news recently and has even been made into a documentary or two.  Watch them.  Read this book.  It is eye opening.

We are introduced to Sela, a victim in search of peace from her past demons.  She is walking a fine line between moving forward and falling headfirst into a pit of depression, despair and demons.  She has never truly recovered from her past and believe me when I say, I fully believe it.

As Sela sets out on her path for vengeance, she meets Beck.  He has been born into priviledge and money; however, he doesn’t take advantage of it.  He is everything that Sela would want in a man and the exact opposite of Jonathan, who is the man she is going after.  Jonathan is dangerous and twisted.  Beck is loving, caring and beyond compassionate.

Meeting Beck throws a bit of a wrench in Sela’s plans and she has a hard time staying on her course for revenge.      She develops a relationship with Beck that is healthy and nurturing but she is hiding herself and secrets from him.  Can she walk away from him so she can reach her final goal?

This is a three part series and of course, we get a cliffhanger.  Did I see it coming…yes but I have to tell you, I wasn’t ready for the book to be over with.  I can’t wait to see what happens in this story pulled from the headlines.  Sawyer Bennett knows how to pull you in and keep you intrigued.  Pick Sugar Daddy up today, it is a worthwhile read and highly enjoyable.
