A sassy, sexy, laugh-out-loud rom-com between the hottest man never to be tamed and the woman crazy enough to try  SHE WANTS TO CHANGE THE WORLD.   Taylor Reed is no stranger to selfish, uncaring CEOs. She was fired by one, which is why she has created her own executive training program—helping heartless bosses become more human. So Taylor shocks even herself when she agrees to coach Bennett Wade, the cutthroat exec who got her unceremoniously canned. She’d love to slam the door in his annoying but very handsome face, but the customers aren’t exactly lining up at her door. Plus, this extreme makeover will give Taylor the golden opportunity to prove that her program works like a charm.   HE WANTS TO BUY IT.   Bennett Wade is many things—arrogant, smug, brusque—but trusting isn’t one of them. Women just seem to be after his billions. So when he hires Taylor Reed, he has no desire to change. Bennett is trying to win over the feminist owner of a company he desperately wants to buy, but something about the fiery Taylor thaws the ice around his heart, making Bennett feel things he never quite planned on. And if there’s one thing Bennett can’t stand, it’s when things don’t go according to plan.   They are a match tailor-made for trouble.

This was such a fun book and its part of a series (this book is a standalone) and I am definitely looking forward to this series.

Bennett Wade is rich and powerful.  He is a man who knows what he wants and doesn’t care what he needs to do to get there or who he needs to move out of his way.  Right now he wants to acquire a new company and he needs to impress the CEO in order to get her to sell to him.  For help he hires Taylor.

Taylor has been burned by Bennett in the past – in fact, he is the reason she left her last job.  Now trying to get her consulting firm off the ground has proven more difficult than she thought.  Now all of the sudden the man who single handling ruined her life is wanting to hire her to help him with his leadership style.  Taylor knows just what to do to get him back for the way he treated her before and in the process, she will teach him a lesson.  What she didn’t account for was the more she actually gets to know Bennett the more she starts to fall for him.

This being the first book I have read by this author and her writing style is quick and the dialog was fantastic between the 2 main characters.  Told in dual 3rd person POV I find that if the author is not experienced this can be in some cases very difficult and the reader can get lost and I didn’t have that problem at all.  There was a great balance of humor and heartache and it was a great depiction of you cant always judge someone by what you think.  The secondary characters were fantastic – I found there was a good balance of friends/family with both Bennett and Taylor to the point I was wondering whose book is up next (I have since found out).   My only concern with the story was that it did run a little long for me – I think she could have cut in a few places.  That being said it wasn’t to the point where my interest waned; I wanted to find out what happened next.

Overall I loved getting to know Bennett and Taylor and I am definitely looking forward to the next book.
