Reviewer’s Thoughts

The Denim Dom is the fifth book in the Suncoast Society by Tymber Dalton.  This book is part of a series but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel with ease, however characters from past book do make an appearance in this book.

Shayla Pierce moved to Florida to start her life over.  She needed to make a clean break from her ex who managed to take out several credit card in her name and put her in debt.  At Shayla, new job she is tasked with doing an article on BDSM and this leads her to a completely new life and passion.   Shayla was very determined to figure out how to except her past with her ex and his addition to internet BDSM porn and what BDSM really was.

Tony Daniels is a Dom who has never trained a submissive before.  He agrees to be Shayla’s Dom so she can write her articles.  However, he is attracted to Shayla but is determined to show her the BDSM life without having sex with her.  He wanted her to understand the life and train her to be a submissive.  I loved seeing Tony struggle to keep his heart separated from training Shayla and falling in love with her.

The connection between Tony and Shayla is scorching.  I valued see how Tony and Shayla get closer to each other as Tony showed more and more of the BDSM lifestyle.  The sex scenes were realistic and inspiring.  I relished seeing Shayla and Tony fall in love with each other.

This book was very well written with enjoyable and realistic characters.  While the ending was a bit predictable, the ride there was truly interesting.  I adored seeing Shayla learn and experience the BDSM lifestyle and all the difference aspects of it.  Overall, this was an amazing book.
