The KingCunning. Sex. Pure nerve. Only this unholy threesome can raise him to his rightful place as a rule of Manhattan’s kink kingdom.

Kingsley’s plan to open the ultimate BDSM clubβ€”a dungeon playground for New York’s A-listβ€”becomes his obsession. His expertise in domination can’t subdue the one man who wants to stop him. Reviewer’s Thoughts

The King, follows a lot of the same timeline of The Saint, but instead follows right along with Kingsley Edge, and his interesting and colorful life. I already adored Kingsley, and getting to see an all the more human side of him, just reinforced that love. He is a unique character, not one that I think can ever be duplicated with even a fraction of the talent that Ms. Reisz put forth in his creation. Soren will always be my first love, but Kingsley is easily a new favorite.

There was less sex scenes then I imagined when I imagined Kingsley’s book, but somehow it still works. I really liked the addition of some great characters, and felt every emotion right along with Kingsley. I felt every betrayal and every triumph, I really wish I had seen his BDSM club in action. I’m at a disadvantage of others because I haven’t read the other series with these great characters yet, and while I said The Saint could be read as a stand alone, I feel like The King shouldn’t be read without at least reading The Saint.

I do definitely recommend this story, I enjoyed it and fans of Tiffany Reisz will enjoy this next installment.
