Reviewer’s Thoughts

Take one city girl, a small town man, throw in a night of passion in Reno, and what do you get? A great contemporary romance, that’s sweet, funny and sexy. I really enjoyed this story. I loved being back in Sunshine, Idaho. It’s this perfect little town that I find myself wanting to run off to so I can find a hunky man and a sweet pup of my own. That’s the best part of this series, there is always a cute animal or two that help the characters get together and fall in love. And since both Emily and Wyatt are veterinarians there are lots of animal matchmakers and a few human ones too.

Emily was a great heroine, she just doesn’t think she’s suited for small town life, after all it’s not part of the PLAN. The calendar and plan that she lives her life by. Especially since the one and only time she lets down her guard and has a wild night it’s with Wyatt, the very man who’s now her boss.

Wyatt only wants to be able to settle down in one place after a childhood with parents struck with wanderlust. He’s loyal, stable and patient both with animals and Emily. I loved that about him.

This had all the nosy secondary characters and small town busy bodies that make me love small town romances. I highly recommend this cute, sexy and sweet romance.

I am a lover of alpha males with dirty mouths, strong heroines putting alpha males in their place, and the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm a proud hockey mom who can often be found at the hockey rink cheering on my favorite forward, with my kindle close by.
