This will be one of those moments when I will regret having read an ARC two months before release. Considering the author I should have known that I would not be disappointed. This new 3 part serial by Shiloh Walker pairs quiet, introvert Ella with sexy male prostitute Sean. Ella is not only shy, but she seems to have a hidden tragic and possibly violent past. We see much re4fernce to her past and her mentor “saving” Ella, but we are left to speculate at what could possibly have happened to a 9 yr old Ella to incite panic attacks at the mere touch of another person.
From the moment she sees him, Ella is fascinated by Sean and can’t get him out of her mind. When she finds out that this sexy bartender is a male prostitute she can’t help but wonder if he could be the solution to her problem. Sean though is so much more than she expected. Can she come out if this healed and her heart in tact or will Sean teach her the pleasure and heartbreak that can be found at his hands after Thirty Nights with a Dirty Boy?
I literally finished this in little over an hour. That being said, my first reaction was a resounding “WTH” when I realized it was over and I would have to wait an indeterminate amount of time before I could get my hands on the second part. Let the begging commence. I HAVE to read the next part. I NEED to read the next part. It is imperative that I read the next part. And let me be the first to say you will want to as well. Shiloh Walker has woven a compelling story that is about so much more than the hot sexy nights. It is a story about pain, slow, sexy seduction and ultimately it is a story about healing that you should not miss. Granted, it is a serial, so if like so many others, you do not want to wait, I would suggest waiting until all three parts are available. However, should you choose to wait or not, what you should not do is miss this touching story. Thirty Nights with a Dirty Boy is one you will remember long after you’re done reading it.
