When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot, bearded, bartender extraordinaire, Joe Collins, only intends to log into his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.
Alex Parks is funny, friendly, and pretty much everything he's been looking for in a woman. And in no time at all they're emailing up a storm, telling each other their deepest darkest secrets... apart from the one that really matters.
And when it comes to love, serving it straight up works better than with a twist.

Twist book two in Kylie Scott’s Dive Bar series has an interesting premise, a guy Joe and a girl Alex meet online form a friendship but they are not what the seem,  she is a recluse who doesn’t like to leave her house, he is keeping the profile for his brother because that is what Joe does – says yes to everyone but other than that these two are more honest than they have ever been.  All that changes when Alex leaves the safety of her Seattle home and travels to Cour d’Alene Idaho to meet Eric (Joe’s brother) for the first time and realizes everything that Joe has told her that started their conversations was a lie.  Joe is definitely not who she expected, big, long hair, beard, and tattoos but as they spend time together Alex and Joe realize they have a lot in common and maybe they can fix each other.

I really enjoyed this book, not only did I find Joe and Alex’s relationship interesting it was fun to see Alex interact with his crazy world and friends.  I found the story fast paced with great exposition and dialog.  We do get to see the gang again which I love and get introduced to Val, Alex’s best friend.  Of course, these two characters have their own demons they have to work through which makes the characters flawed and well-rounded that just keeps story interesting and helps the reader rooting for the main characters.  I while I really enjoyed Dirty book 1 in the Dive series, I loved Twist and cant wait to see what Kylie Scott comes up with for her next book in this series.
