Reviewer’s Thoughts

Under a Christmas Spell was a very well writen short novel. The historical setting and the paranormal aspects blended very well together.

I enjoyed both the main characters Lord Valiant an incubus and Lucie a succubus. They both worked for the government, sent on a mission to get to people whom are not interested in marriage to get married, but along the way they fall in love with each other. The plot was well written. The character development was great. The only thing I felt that it was missing was what was going on with the two people that were supposed to fall in love.

This was the first book I have read from Barbara Monajem and I can’t wait to read more from her.

  1. Thank you for the very kind review. Just wanted to let you know that the story about the two who were supposed to fall in love — Lord Westerly and Theodora Southern — is told in the sequel, Under a New Year’s Enchantment, which will be released in January. πŸ™‚
