special teamsWhen Hunter Simms goes undercover at an underground BDSM party, the last thing he expects to see is SWAT’s leading shooter Keifer Magnessen bound, gagged, plugged and very bare. He is immediately drawn to Keifer, and wants to get to know his fellow cop better. Much better.

With such a high stress job, Keifer needs to give up control on his down time in order to decompress, but it’s a secret he holds close to his vest. So, when Hunter walks into his chosen place to submit, he tries to cut and run. Lucky for him, Hunter is shrewd, persistent and quite possibly just the Dom that Keifer needs.

Can these two strong men find a way to make their personal lives mesh?

Reviewer’s Thoughts

Hunter Simms goes undercover at an underground BDSM party and finds someone he least expects to find, a fellow officer, Keifer.  Hunter is drawn to him because he is not an easy submissive and a Dom has to work to get submission from Keifer.  Hunter seems to be a capable and knowledgeable Dom.

Keifer Magnessen is a sniper for the SWAT Team and the best there is.  He lives on caffeine, adrenaline and working out.  He needs the release that being a submissive gives him from reality.   However, Keifer is a bratty sub that has a bad temper that makes him hard to handle.  Keifer seems to need someone that understands his job as well.

The connection between Keifer and Hunter is blistering.  They make for such a great pair because of how opposite they are of each other.  Keifer pushes and pushes while Hunter keeps showing and telling Keifer he is not going anywhere and will be there for him like no one else has been.  The sex scenes were scorching and intense.

I found this book very well written with an exciting plot.  This book does contain many elements are typically found in most book written by Sean Michael however this book seemed almost tame compared some of the authors other works.  The main characters and secondary characters are authentic and fascinating. The ending of the book was a bit predictable but the focus of the book is more the relationship between Hunter and Kiefer.  Overall, this was a magnificent book that I had a hard time putting down.
