Reviewer’s Thoughts

Worth Waiting For is the third book in the Dare to Dream series by Bea LaRocca.  While this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone novel with ease.

Nick Stevens is a lawyer that works in an office of literary agents.  Nick recently moved to town with his ex-boyfriend who left him on New Year ’s Eve.  Nick now has to make several decisions as to his life and career as well as get over the loss of his ex.  Nick comes across as a smart man who tries to success in everything he tries.

Marcus Anderson is a hot and sexy man and a co-worker of Nick’s.  Marcus is in love with Nick but tries not to let Nick know and stay friends with him.  Marcus had a tough childhood once his parents found out he was gay.  Marcus comes across as a great mix of tough and vulnerable.

The connection between Marcus and Nick is intense. It was very interesting to see Marcus and Nick try establish a relationship based on their attraction and each deal with their respective pasts.   The one area they did not have any problems was in the bedroom.  The sex scenes were scorching.

I found this book well written with a realistic plot.  The main characters and the secondary character were fascinating.   The ending while a bit predictable was enjoyable to see how everything worked out.  Overall, this was a wonderful book.
