Cynyr Cree is a reaper and reapers are loners until he helps Aingeal Portman. Aingeal has experienced the worst of love and wonders if things could be different with Cynyr. I absolutely loved everything about the book. It was a love story and a love lesson on how two people can come together despite past traumas and have a healthy, happy relationship. This book made me crave Aingeal’s jewelry. Cynyr was so sentimental and romantic. Cynyr was determined to go to any lengths to protect Aingeal and keep her by his side. Despite others’ opinion of Cynyr Aingeal saw past his occupation and into his heart of gold. I cried so many times as I read this novel that is a combination of red hot sexy and sweet, sweet love. The were elements of adventure, mystery, and suspense woven throughout the story. So whatever you enjoy you’ll find it in this novel. I stayed up until the early hours of the morning to finish this book. At a couple of points in the story I was so invested in the characters and afraid they were going to be separated or die that I had to put the book down and cry. I felt like they needed each other. A true reader will understand. Their story continues on in the next installment of the Western Wind series. Normally I hate to read books that lead the reader on to purchase more books, but this time I’m grateful that there’s more of their story and it’s already out so no waiting. Yes, it was just that good and I’ll be starting the next book as soon as possible. Don’t miss this book and those that follow
