How did you discover Kate Meader?

I stumbled onto Kate through a contest somewhere…. one of the, go visit on facebook page things and was intrigued enough to poke around for a while.

What is it about this author and their books that have your coming back for more?

Honestly, so far I’ve just read the one, Flirting with Fire. But, hot guys plus strong female characters set in my adopted home town, definitely has me curious about where her new series will go.

What’s your favorite book of Kate Meader’s?  Why?

Flirting with Fire. Two wounded characters with strong personalities come together and teach each other a few things. Plus there are fire fighters and kittens.

Originally from Ireland, Kate cut her romance reader teeth on Maeve Binchy and Jilly Cooper novels, with some Mills & Boon thrown in for variety. Give her tales about brooding mill owners, oversexed equestrians, and men who can rock an apron or a fire hose, and she’s there. Now based in Chicago, she writes sexy contemporary romance with alpha heroes and strong heroines who can match their men quip for quip.
