Top Shelf Favorite Author – Laurelin Paige

Felicia has another Top Shelf Favorite Author for us.  She’s got Laurelin Paige in her sights and this sounds like and author I really need to read.  Enjoy!

How did you discover Laurelin Paige?

I had the Fixed Trilogy for a while and kept looking at it – then finally got around to reading it and loved her writing style and have been hooked ever since.

What is it about this author and their books that have your coming back for more?

I thought she did a great job with her characters, especially Hudson though Alyana has issues of her own. Of all the “boyfriends” I have read he is probably the most complex and interesting out of all of them. When I started to read her new series The Found Duet I found she again made her characters complex and really interesting. I love that.

What’s your favorite book of Laurelin Paige’s?  Why?

Hudson is my favorite book. The overall Fixed Trilogy has a lot of twists and turns driven by Hudson. Since the first three books are from Alyana’s POV it was great to read part of the story from Hudson’s POV. Especially when dealing with his family – who lets just say are not very nice. This book starts long before he meets Alayna that does a great job explaining his back story and the choices he makes.
