Today’s Top Shelf Favorite Author is someone Shannon met back around the time she started Cocktails and Books.  She was a new author and Shannon was a new blogger.  Twelve books later, this author is someone Shannon will always recommend and someone she considers a good friend.  Meet Shannon’s Top Shelf Favorite Author, Tiffany Snow.

How did you discover Tiffany?

Back in 2011 I received an email from an indie author asking me to read her debut book. Being a new blogger, I jumped at the chance to read something other may not have discovered yet. From the moment I started NO TURNING BACK, I knew this was an author I was going to love.

What is it about this author and their books that have your coming back for more?

The characters. Tiffany creates characters that stick with you. There is something about them that readers can identify with, whether it’s the heroine thinking she’s not good enough for the hero, the hero doing what he must to protect someone important to him or the best friend who’s there for the hero/heroine no matter what. As a reader, Tiffany makes it possible to make that connection and carries it through the series, making it very hard for the reader to let go.

What’s your favorite book of Tiffany’s?  Why?

Having followed Tiffany from the very beginning, it’s hard to pick just one book (because I have loved them all), but I think it’s her June release, POWER PLAY (Forever, June 30, 2015) that is my favorite. The heroine in the book, Sage, is different than Kathleen and Ivy. She’s more down to earth, more together. And let’s not forget the two men in her life, Parker and Ryker…still a good guy and bad boy combo, but you have to wonder who has which label, because neither of them are as they seem.

CnB About the Author

Tiffany attended the University of Missouri – Columbia, attaining two degrees in History and Social Studies Education. After working many years as an instructor and consultant in the Information Technology field, Tiffany now writes full-time.

Tiffany loves to read and has been reading romance novels since she was way too young to read such things. She has an unhealthy obsession for all things Doctor Who, prefers Pepsi to Coke and Absolut to both, thinks men who drink girly cocktails are wusses, has learned to never stop believing in her beloved St. Louis Cardinals, and can recite the entire scripts of When Harry Met Sally and Apollo 13. George Washington is cool, Bon Jovi still rocks the house, and Bruce Willis is the ultimate alpha-male hero.

Married with two wonderful daughters, Tiffany and her family make their home in Kansas City, Missouri, not far from where she was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.

I am a lover of alpha males with dirty mouths, strong heroines putting alpha males in their place, and the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm a proud hockey mom who can often be found at the hockey rink cheering on my favorite forward, with my kindle close by.
