Kate has fantasies of a dominant man and with the help of her friend who is a sub introduces her to the lifestyle. This is where Kate meets Banner and with his help, shows her what the lifestyle has to explore. Kate is a strong and independent woman who knows what she wants but seems to have trouble expressing it.
Banner is a Dom who is trying to help introduce Kate to the lifestyle. What he does not expect is to fall in love with her. However, Banner wants a slave and not a sub which is the opposite of what Kate says she wants.
The connection between Kate and Banner is intense. However, I had a hard time believing that Kate was a sub at all. She continually challenged everyone around her. Kate’s struggle submitting comes across more like someone trying to find a role to fit to, like an act, more than finding part of her true self. Banner’s struggle with his feelings for Kate was realistic considering her wishes. The sex scenes were scorching.
Finding Master Right is the first book in the Masters Unleashed series by Sparrow Beckett. I found this book well written with a unique plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating. This book takes the reader on a lovely journey. Overall, this was a very charming book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
