Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde do it again with the next installment in their Book Boyfriend series with Well Built. A second chance romance about a small town girl and a city boy who find each other again.
Kyle Colemen is going home – he is looking to purchase a new storefront in his home town of Woodmont IL for his mom. The problem is that is the same property that Ella Fisher also wants, Ella also just happens to be his ex-girlfriend from 10 years ago, the girl he never forgot. Knowing he has the means to outbid her for the property he does so because it’s what his mom so desperately wants and deserves but what Kyle doesn’t expect is all the feeling that comeback when he sees Ella again. This time things are going to be different though – when he left the first time he was a boy now he is a successful man who won’t let anything or anyone get in the way of what he wants and he wants Ella.
Ella Fisher wants to make something of her own and owning the property next door to her family market is just what she needs. What she doesn’t expect is Kyle vying for the same property or why he wants it. After spending time with Kyle she still sees the nice boy who she drove away all those years ago and she also sees the man he has become. She won’t hurt her family though and getting back involved with Kyle will break her dad even if that means not giving into her heart.
Kyle one of the partners in Premier Realty is just as charismatic, sexy and sweet as Max and Wes and the authors show us once again why they are so good at writing from dual POV’s and in the third person no less. They do a great job packing a lot of information in a fairly shorter book that is fast paced but doesn’t make you feel like you are missing out on anything. We get to see both sides of the story and the hurt both Kyle and Ella go through at no fault of their own. They also do a fantastic job writing the secondary characters in Woodmont, so well in fact that I can see a spin off series for sure. We do get to see Wes/Natalie and Max/Haylie again which was great and a little more of Connor the last bachelor partner at Premier. I know I am eagerly waiting for his story.
