Reviewer’s Thoughts

Even knowing who she is, Kiril cannot seem to get Shana out of his head. But is the feeling mutual? Are thoughts of him keeping her up at night as well? Shana is teetering on a very fine edge between loyalty to the family she longs to be a part of and what her heart wants but her head tells her is all wrong. Like the typical heroine in most romance novels, she does not trust that the one her heart calls for can save her from her untenable situation. What is her solution? It may take an even greater evil to fight her way away from her family’s machinations and scheming ways.

Part 2 gives us more drama and more angst, yet engrosses us in this saga between the Dragon Kings and the Dark Fae. Unsurprisingly, I’ve sat and read this part of the book, time passing me by unnoticed as I allowed Grant’s way with words to draw me deeper into a world where Dragons soar through the skies and magical portals can transport you to other realms. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
