Hollywood royalty Jeremy Jameson has lived a sheltered life with music as his sole focus and only friend. Before embarking on yet another international concert tour, he wanders into a bar in what he considers the middle of nowhere and meets a man who wins him over with his friendly smile and easy-going nature. Accountant slash bartender slash adventure-seeker Reg Moore has fun talking and drinking with The Jeremy Jameson and can’t say no when the supposedly straight rock star makes him a once in a lifetime offer: keep him company on his tour by playing the part of his boyfriend.
Listening to music, traveling the world, and jumping off cliffs is fun. Falling in love is even better. But to stay with Jeremy after the stage lights dim, Reg will need to help him realize there’s nothing pretend about their relationship.

Oh. My.  God!  I loved this book so much, I can’t even come up with the right words to tell you.  I’m going to try, but don’t expect much…just gushing.  Lots and lots of gushing.

Jeremy is a rock star…a HUGE rock star.  He’s in demand everywhere he goes, and he’s a little tired of it all.  One day, he finds himself going into a hole in the wall bar, and spends the day drinking beer and talking with the owner, Reg.  They get along great, and Reg even invites Jeremy back to his place because he’s so drunk he couldn’t find his way out of a paper bag.  Jeremy comes up with the idea of inviting Reg to go on tour with him and his band…as his pretend boyfriend.  He figures that having a friend along will help him relax.  Reg loves new and interesting adventures, so he agrees…with a few conditions.  He wants to have this last for more than a year, so he can see and try all sorts of new things, and Jeremy must accompany him on these activities.  The deal is done, and the tour begins.  Reg keeps Jeremy balanced, and Jeremy begins to rely on Reg more than he anticipated.

Of course, the relationship begins to grow deeper.  This is the part of the story that I just went crazy over.  I was already in love with Reg and Jeremy, but as they fell further for each other, I fell harder for them.  Their love scenes are so, so hot.  I mean, panty melting, Kindle smoking HOT.

However, it’s not sex for sex’s sake.  Every scene goes to further the story, and they’re never gratuitous.  There’s a bit of a mystery involved, and even a little action.  None of it is a distraction from the romance.  All of this boils down to a perfect ending, and it’s exactly how I wanted it to be.

I’ve been binge reading Cardeno C’s books for a while now.  I love the writing style, and the flow of the stories.  There’s exactly the right mix of romance, sex, and angst.  I will never hesitate to recommend his/her books (Honestly, I’m still not sure if Cardeno C is a man or woman, but it doesn’t matter to me in the slightest.  The books the most important.).

Ok, now you’ve got me convinced. Cardeno C is bumped up on my TBR list. Which book should I read first?
