Reviewer’s Thoughts

This is one of my favorite Tara Rose books so far!

“Persuading Eve” is the fifth book in the “Passion Peak, Colorado” series, and it’s, in my opinion, the best.  They’ve all been outstanding, but Tara really brings it home with this one.   Chapter one, alone, is worth the price of admission.  Eve Rydell is engaged to be married to Phil Parkwood. It’s been a long road for Eve.  She’s had a rough past, and Phil is helping her get rid of bad memories, replacing them with new, loving ones.  Knox is Phil’s cousin, and he’s a great guy.  He’s lonely, though, and a proposition from Phil just may change that.

These three are explosive together!  They click right away, and their relationship felt very natural.  It progressed quickly, but that just added to the story.  The sex scenes?  Oh MY!!  As far as heat is concerned, they broke the thermometer.  As always, Tara writes an underlying mystery to go along with the romance, and it’s a good one.  There is some action thrown in for good measure.

Remember, this is a BDSM menage book, so there are toys, blindfolds, restraints, and double penetration.  It’s not extremely heavy…more intense than anything, and it is exciting.  “Persuading Eve” made my heart flutter, and other parts?  Well, they fluttered too 🙂  This could be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend that you start from the beginning.  That way, you can get to know all of Passion Peak’s other residents.  They’re good people, and I think you’ll like them.  In fact, you may find yourselves packing your bags for a long, leisurely skiing trip.  Enjoy!
