[Siren Everlasting Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Paranormal Romance, M/M, shape-shifters, HEA]Yuri knows he has been truly blessed by fate when he gets his first sight of his forever mate. The shy little redhead is breathtaking. He also turns out to be sweet and adorable and in need of a strong shifter mate that can protect him from the evils in the world. Yuri truly believes he is the man for the job. He just doesn’t expect to have that tested so soon after meeting Liam. Liam O’Conner is pretty sure he has died and gone to heaven when the most handsome man in the bar comes to sit down next to him. Yuri seems to hang on his every word, and if the hungry glint in the man’s eyes is anything to go by, Liam just might get lucky. But fate has a funny way of making a person work for what they want, and the mating between Yuri and Liam is no different. As much as the two men just want to be left alone to get to know each other better, outside forces seem intent on ending their mating before it barely begins. Only with the help of their friends and family will they have a chance to find out if they can be happy as forever mates.

Oh, this was a fun one.  Short, sweet, and to the point, “Forever Mates:  Yuri and Liam” is part of four books in the “Forever Mates” series.

Please don’t think I’m starting a joke when I say four gay men walk into a roadhouse because it’s not.  When they sit down, they al notice the four very big, handsome brothers over by the pool table, and they’re all looking at them.  All of the big guys feel a pull toward a certain one of the gay men.

Wolf shifters, they realize that they’ve found their…well..forever mates.  The moment Yuri sets eyes on Liam, he’s head over heels in love.  He feels the urge to hold close and protect him, and Liam is happy to let him.  All of the brothers take their mates outside so that they can get to know them better.  The trouble begins rather quickly.  The pack that Yuri and his brothers belong to doesn’t take kindly to gay members because they (supposedly) have an obligation to mate with women and bear children to keep the bloodline going.

Everything takes off from there.  There is fighting, abject terror, and sex.  Lots of really good sex.  Yuri and Liam have a great chemistry together.

It may have been insta love, but it felt like it was an important part of the story.  Most shifter stories have that.  As soon as they set eyes on their fated mates, they just KNOW.  I loved how protective Yuri was with Liam.  How he could carry him around and have him in his lap without straining himself.  I also love how Liam allows this.  There’s not fighting it here.  They are the perfect couple.  They compliment each other.  Their love scenes are both hot and romantic.  Yuri sure knows how to woo a man 🙂

Along with the story of Yuri and Liam, we have the stories of Yuri’s brothers and Liam’s friends.  Each are given just a hint of what their relationships are like.  However, it doesn’t get in the way of the main plot.  It was just the right amount for you to be able to feel as if you could move into one of the other books smoothly.  Personally, I’ve not read the other three books, but I will be doing that very soon.  I have a goal, and it’s to read every single book that Stormy Glenn has written.  She’s one of my favorites, and she never lets me down.

I highly recommend that you check this book out.  It’s a good one.
