Let the music carry you away in this brand-new series featuring the King family and their country music dynasty
Music is all he has...but is it enough to heal them both?
Jace Black went from an oilfield roughneck to an overnight singing sensation. Now he's working on a duet with country music legend Krystal King, and he's determined to earn his way to the top. But the more time he spends with Krystal, the more he finds himself falling for her--and he's beginning to be more interested in her than he is in making a name for himself.
Krystal King grew up on stage and in the spotlight. No matter how golden her life appears, her past left deep wounds. But Jace Black makes her wish things were different. To do that, she'd have to risk letting him in... And that might be too big a risk for her battered heart to take.
Kings of Country series: Jace (Book 1)

JACE is a beautifully tragic love story about two people meant to be together. This sweet and endearing story is about the country music industry and it is a combination of funny and angsty and also tackles some important issues. The characters are realistic but both of them have some issues they are trying to work through. I enjoyed the story and all the entertaining characters.

Krystal comes from country music royalty.  Her father is a big name in country music and Krystal and her brother and sister are the Three Kings, a top charting country act. Krystal is continually crucified by the press and she is tired of fighting all the negative publicity. My heart went out to Krystal because life and people haven’t been kind to her. I admire how strong Krystal is, but I also feel sorry for her because she suffers in silence and she is afraid to let anyone in.

Jace is such a good guy. He is caring and sensitive and just the right guy for Krystal. He is new to the music business and fascinated and intimidated by all the big stars he is meeting. He is instantly attracted to Krystal and also feels protective of her.

Krystal has never met anyone like Jace. He is a good guy with no ulterior motives; what you see is what you get with Jace. In the cutthroat music industry, Krystal doesn’t meet many people like Jace. However, she is afraid to let down her guard with him and put her heart on the line, because she has been hurt in the past. Krystal and Jace are perfect together. From the moment they meet, they are drawn to each other. I loved all their interactions and the wonderful music they create together. I hope there is going to be a story about Emmy.
