If you love the Dark Protectors, these wicked hot Realm Enforcers are for you!

Alexandra Monzelle is a hard-fighting, heat-packing Seattle vice cop, and she’s not much interested in being protected. Her short skirt and sex-kitten heels are tools to lure her suspects into talking about the deadly new drug hitting the streets. She can take care of herself and then some. Unfortunately, she can’t seem to get that through to Kellach Dunne.

Kellach is a fresh import from Dublin, and he’s landed at the heart of a vicious motorcycle club that deals in guns, narcotics, and mayhem. He’s all male, all rough power—and all interference in her damn investigation. Maybe he’s one of the good guys. Maybe not. Lex knows an affair with an immortal like him would risk everything. No matter how delicious he looks…

BookBud’s Thoughts

Welcome to the world of the The Realm Enforcers. Where Witches, Vampires, Demons and Shifters are just a part of everyday life. But in Seattle where humans are just part of everyday life are trying to survive, there is a new drug Apllo on the street that burns you from in the inside out. The Witches from the Realm have sent enforcers to investigate and destroy this drug Apollo that is not only harmful for humans but meant to kill witches.

Rebecca has started a new series where we can read about what is going on with our favorite characters from the Realm and introduce us to new hot heroes. In Wicked Ride we meet Kellach Dunne. He is a bad ass Witch Enforcer whose job is to protect the Coven Nine Witches. We met him the Dark Protectors and guess what? He is as dreamy as all the other Protectors. And like the Dark Protectors there will be on going story through all the future books. YAY..

Alexandra Monzelle is a police officer who follows the letter of the law. Kellach’s law could not be more different. But when these two meet and finally work together the sparks they ignite are just as powerful as a Forth of July fireworks display.

Lex is no nonsense and fights her own battles. Kellach is as old school and comes from a time where women need protecting, are fragile and delicate. Lex being strong as she is, denies that she needs any of these things but secretly would love for a man to be that for her. When compromise is met, we see the potential that this is a couple who will protect their loved ones with their lives.

There a few cameos from a few of our favorites from the Dark Protectors and that just bought back the feeling of home in a way. Thank you Rebecca for continuing on with a world that brings us adventure, romance and an Alpha to dream about

About Rebecca Zanetti

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Rebecca Zanetti has worked as an art curator, Senate aide, lawyer, college professor, and a hearing examiner – only to culminate it all in stories about Alpha males and the women who claim them. She writes dark paranormals, romantic suspense, and sexy contemporary romances.

Growing up amid the glorious backdrops and winter wonderlands of the Pacific Northwest has given Rebecca fantastic scenery and adventures to weave into her stories. She resides in the wild north with her husband, children, and extended family who inspire her every day–or at the very least give her plenty of characters to write about.

I am a stay at home mom who rather be reading than doing house work. I am an old fashioned kind of reader. I love my romance books to be romantic with a side of angst thrown in. I also love to read murder mystery suspense books. The more suspenseful the better. I just love to read. I've been reviewing for Cocktails and Books since May 2014.
