Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Lucy Gibson’s life is a mess! And it’s about to get a lot worse! Nick Laurentis, Lucy’s hot “something like a boyfriend”, has just won a reality TV show called Hotshots. Even though they Lucy and Nick hardly know each other, Nick proposes to Lucy on live TV. Everyone watching their television’s that night had a front row seat to the proposal. In front of all of Britain, Lucy say’s NO!

In Britain, Lucy is treated like enemy number one. She is hounded by paparazzi. They stalk her at her home and at work. Her boss informed her that she needs to take a vacation and not come back to work until things cool down.

Lucy decides to take her best friend, Fiona, up on her offer to stay in her cottage in Cornwall. Once she’s sure that paparazzi has not followed her, she starts to relax and settles into village life. She mingles with the locals, and meets in gorgeous local!

As we all know, a good chick lit novel needs a hot guy. The hot guy in this story happens to be the owner of some cottages similar to the one Lucy is residing in. They meet in a very amusing incident and continue to bump into each other. The attraction to each other made me want to scream “ENOUGH ALREADY! Just get it on”.

I won’t spoil the plot for you but I recommend reading this book. ‘Just Say Yes’ doesn’t disappoint!
