The first in a fun, new contemporary romance series from beloved author HelenKay Dimon.

AVAILABLE DIGITALLY FOR THE FIRST TIME
The Hanover brothers inherited some bad behavior from their con artist father. Now three strong women will make honest men out of them.

After ten years in the Army and four overseas deployments, Declan Hanover is ready for life away from a military base. Sweetwater, Oregon, a sleepy coastal town, seems like the perfect place to start over. His plan is to work out a deal with his brothers and the bank to let him keep the estate they’ve inherited, Shadow Hill. But he wasn’t prepared for Leah Baron, whose family lost everything to his father’s cons—including the house Declan intends to make his own…

Leah thinks Declan is just like his conman father. He possesses a bad boy charm that makes her heart pound, but that doesn’t mean she can trust him. All she wants is to get close to him so she can get her house back. But Declan has other ideas. He doesn’t mind being in close proximity to Leah—as long as it’s in the bedroom…

Reviewer’s Thoughts:

I am starting to become a huge fan of HelenKay Dimon.  She really knows how to write a fun, heart-warming romance that’s hard to put down.   In this book, she introduces us to the new Hanover Brothers series with Declan being our first treat… I mean brother.  He’s sexy, completely alpha (hello military man!) and determined to settle down and keep the estate that he and his brothers inherited from their father.   Little does he know that his biggest obstacle would come in the form of Leah.  Leah is bitter and cold towards the Hanover brothers.  Their father’s cons cost her family everything, including the house that Declan and his brothers inherited – the house she now wants.

The chemistry between Declan and Leah is electric, as they fight each other over the house, and their feelings towards one another.  Their relationship develops with a perfect blend of hilarity and drama, keeping you engaged and emotionally involved in their situation.  The sexual tension that builds between the two of them is so thick; you could cut it with a knife.  And, as always, the secondary characters make the story.  The other Hanover brothers are a great addition to the story, and I absolutely can’t wait to find out what’s in store for them in the rest of this very promising series.

I am a lover of alpha males with dirty mouths, strong heroines putting alpha males in their place, and the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm a proud hockey mom who can often be found at the hockey rink cheering on my favorite forward, with my kindle close by.
