Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Time traveling librarians, psychic Gaels, English War Heroes, Timeless Desire has it all. A little bit paranormal, a lot historical and quite a bit of intrigue thrown in for good measure, this novel has something for everyone. Cready takes us on a wild trip from present day Pittsburgh to the war torn borderlands of Scotland of the 1700s.

Our heroine being a librarian really threw me. It made me wonder if all librarians are closet wild women who love adventure as much as Panna does. It would certainly explain a lot. During work hours she is the dull, responsible librarian we are all familiar with. Once the library closes, however, she’s traveling through time and embroiled in intrigue. This librarian turned amateur spy is anything but meek, the perfect counterpart to our hero.

Very well written, it becomes readily apparent that Cready did her research well. Start to finish this book provided nonstop action and intrigue without once sacrificing on the romance. Fast paced without leaving the reader to a feeling of the storyline being rushed, Timeless Desire is a definite must read if you enjoy time travel and intrigue. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
