[Siren Sensations: Erotic Fantasy Consensual BDSM Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, spanking, flogging, paddling, knife play, sex toys, HEA]

When registered nurse Brenna Rutherford is compelled by forces she can’t understand to take home an erotic painting from an estate sale, she discovers it’s actually a portal to an alternate universe. Once there, she’s forced to become a sex slave to princes Jaxon and Parker, but quickly gives her heart to them as well as her body.

Jaxon and Parker are descended from one of the true kings of Ashdown. They belong to an elite group of princes who use the magick of the erotic paintings discovered centuries ago to lure women into their world for their unique sexual perversions. But as they take what is their birthright from Brenna, each man loses his heart to her in the process.

When Brenna’s maid disappears, Brenna, Jaxon and Parker become unwilling participants in a plot to frame Brenna for the maid’s murder. When they realize the threat originated from their own bloodline, all three are in danger.

Kenna’s Thoughts

I really enjoyed this story.  Hell…I’m shaping up to love the entire series!

“Brenna’s Bondage” is the second installment in Tara Rose’s “Portraits of Submission” series, and it’s a good one.  Let me give you a quick rundown on the premise.  There is alternative universe called Ashdown, where, through a (what I consider) lovely and sexy sort of magick, a woman can be transported through a mysterious painting.  Once there, she can be claimed by princes from the royal family.  It’s their birthright.  Nobody really knows how the paintings work, and once there, the women can’t go back home.  However, by the end of the story, they are perfectly happy to stay.

Brenna is a nurse who finds an intriguing painting at an estate sale.  The family lets her take it home for free because it’s just not the type of artwork that they’re interested in.  As the painting begins to change, Brenna is frightened but more than a little drawn to it.  Once she’s sucked through the portal, she is claimed by Jaxon and Parker.  Being claimed means that she, essentially, is their sex slave.  Not in an ugly, forceful way, but it’s very clear that she is THEIRS…much to the anger of three other princes who wanted her for themselves.

I don’t want to give anymore away, so I’ll stop there and just tell you that what follows is an intense, sexy, mysterious ride that will captivate you and hold you until the very end.  Brenna, Jaxon, and Parker generate so much heat when they’re together.  It may feel that they became lovers rather quickly, but there is a reason for that, and it’s reasonably explained.  From the first kisses, it’s obvious that these three are perfect for each other.  The guys have a solid friendship, and Brenna completes them.  She brings out the best in them, and they love and protect her when things become frightening.

I mentioned that there was a mystery, and it’s well written and fleshed out.  It’s obvious that Tara Rose put a lot of thought into it.  I have to admit that it kept me guessing, and that’s hard to do.  I’m one of those people who figure out whodunnit within the first ten minutes.  All of this coupled with the extremely hot sex, and the sweet love story, made “Brenna’s Bondage” one of the best books I’ve read so far this year.  As I said, this is the second installment in a series.  It can be read as a standalone, but the first book, “Abigail’s Acquiescence” is great too.  I”m loving all of the characters in Ashdown, and I think you will as well.

About Tara Rose

Tara Rose loves to write about small towns and the quirky people that inhabit them. You’ll find engaging characters, budding romance, intrigue and plenty of hot steamy ménage sex within the pages of her books. You never really know what goes on behind closed doors, but her books will take you there, and leave you panting for more.

When she isn’t writing, Tara spends time with her husband—her real-life hero. She loves to cook, collect antique pottery, and she will read just about anything. Tara also plays the cello, and loves decorating her house for Christmas.
