Reviewer’s Thoughts

“Caught In The Middle” by Tonya Ramagos is a decent story.  The main character, Terri, is know as the “Queen of Flings”.  She doesn’t really do the relationship thing.  That’s not a flaw, though.  Terri is a very nice woman, and she’s an excellent EMT.  She’s also doing something really wonderful for her best friend and his two husbands.  Terri met Owen and started to think that maybe, just maybe, she could be in a relationship, but Owen just wants to be friends.  SO, Terri starts seeing Gage as well and begins having deep feelings for both men.

That is as much in the way of spoilers you’re going to get from me.  The story progresses quickly, and the characters gel well together.  I can easily see why Terri is torn.  Both are smart, funny, and caring.  She has a great chemestry with each of them.  When something bad happens, our heroes come together to save their woman, and we see that they can peacefully co-exist.

Speaking of something bad happening, there is a second couple in this book.  FBI agents, Christa Hutchins and Harry Gosher are working hard to find out who is dealing a new and dangerous party drug.  There have been overdoses, and this needs to be stopped quickly.  I’m sure that there will be a book about Christa and Harry soon.  They are good characters and I liked them, but I have to say that I was a tad distracted because I really wanted to focus on Terri, Owen, and Gage.  They were an important part of the whole story arc, though, so I just had to stay alert.

This is quite a sexy book.  The love scenes are VERY hot, and the first time the three main Terri, Owen, and Gage were together?  Nice.  Really nice.  “Caught in the Middle” is the eleventh book in a series called “The Heroes of Silver Springs”.  I wish that I could have started at the very beginning because there are characters that overlap.  I’ll be sure to check out the others.
