Reviewer’s Thoughts

What a great story! I loved the story of Finn and Veronica and how their beginnings were so much alike and how each handled their future by one helping out foster kids and the other raising her siblings with the help of her older brother.

Finn ran a cooking school to help teach the kids that there was hope for them and that people did care about them. Veronica and her older brother took care of their two younger siblings and Veronica raised them as her own putting herself last.

Finn and Veronica were friends from grade school and continued that friendship through adulthood but when Finn was ready to take their friendship to the next level Veronica felt guilty to be thinking of her own happiness and how she would be putting herself before her family. Together they worked things out after misunderstandings by all. This has an HEA, no cliff hanger here.
