Regina’s fantasies about her hot marketing assistant, Gabriel, are interfering with her focus at work. In desperation, she turns to Madame Eve to give her a one-night stand with a man who looks just like him. When the Gabriel arrives in her hotel room, she must choose between walking away and playing out her daydreams with the real thing. Their one night becomes a wrestling match for control as Regina strives to keep the upper hand. But Gabriel is just as determined to show her how to work together for business and for pleasure.

As passion trumps protocol, their one night stand quickly becomes much more than a fantasy

Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Regina has prided herself on never mixing work with pleasure; but doing this has caused a wall to build around her heart. Fortunately for her this wall has not interfered one bit with her overwhelming want for Gabriel. Everything about him is a magnet to her hands and her mouth but giving in would be impossible; she never mixes with her work colleagues. However, after a requested date with a look alike goes awry she will be forced to act out every fantasy on Gabriel himself, but more so she is forced to look at that wall that she has so carefully built and find strength to let him tear it down.

Gabriel has known for so long he wanted Regina. Feeling that it was an impossible feet he decided to make his own phone call; surprise would not quite cover his reaction when he finds the real Regina in his room. Now every move must be constructed carefully because not only does he want every inch of her body but most of all her heart.

To say these two characters are opposite would cover it nicely but somehow they make it work. His overwhelming want and love for her pushes equally against her overwhelming need to keep him at arm’s length and co-worker status. However, once they are forced face to face it is a rapid turn of events for both of them but absolutely enjoyable none the less.

The author is able to pack so much emotion and detail into this short book which is, for me, amazing. The characters answer that ultimate expression for a couple, they complete each other and the book was well played out in plot. I would love to read it again just for a short thrill ride of emotion and seduction. Wonderful!
