This was an easy pick this week. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever to get the last book in the love story of hot, tortured rock God Kellan Kyle and his girlfriend/fiancee/wife, Kiera. Their love story has had some pretty tremendous bumps, but in this final installment in the series, we finally get to see the two of them put all their insecurities aside and stand as a united front. It made their relationship stronger and proved (to themselves and everyone else) that they were truly made to be with each other.

Case in point, the following snippet. Kiera had just watched Kellan film a music video. It was a bit upsetting to both of them.

His voice hitched, and I heard a sound I’d never wanted to hear from him again. He was crying. Wiping my hands dry, I opened the bathroom door. he had his head in his hands, and his shoulders were shaking. I immediately wrapped my arms around h im. He buried his head in my neck, murmuring, “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. Please don’t hate me…please don’t leave me.”

I held him tight to me, my tears threatening to resurface. Stroking his hair, I shushed him, whispering, “It’s okay…I’m not mad…it’s ok.”

If I didn’t already love Kellan, this scene would have cracked my heart wide open to him.

If you haven’t picked up the Thoughtless series by S. C. Stephens, definitely get it.

Can love survive when life gets Reckless?
