Reviewer’s Thoughts

I read the first book this series, and with the way it ended, I was desperate to dive into Lockout. I definitely love Sebastian and Sophia and the ordinary yet fascinating world that’s surrounds them.

Sebastian has this debonair, secretive side yet is still so sweet and loveable. I understand why Sophia fell so hard for him and craves his touch.

Sophia is a strong likeable character. I understand why she is wary of Sebastian at times, and also why she quickly gives in when she realizes she’s letting past relationships color her time with Sebastian. She grows so much in this relationship and when things don’t add up, she can’t help but unravel the secrets surrounding Sebastian. The way the author handles it is well done, and I definitely understand both sides of the issue.

The scenes between these two characters are explosive, having all the scenes from a first person perspective does add an extra level of fantasy to the story. They come together with serious chemistry and I enjoyed every steamy scene and the creative side of Sebastian.

The story builds up and just keeps building. This story ends on a major cliffhanger, and I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment. I will admit to a certain level of frustration with how the story ended and having to wait to find out what happens.

I recommend this story for the great characters, the sexy storyline and the secrets that kept me guessing, it’s a definite thrill ride.

Cocktail Recipe

Mojito

INGREDIENTS:
10 fresh mint leaves
1/2 lime, cut into 4 wedges
2 tablespoons white sugar, or to taste
1 cup ice cubes
1 1/2 fluid ounces white rum
1/2 cup club soda

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge into a sturdy glass. Use a muddler to crush the mint and lime to release the mint oils and lime juice. Add 2 more lime wedges and the sugar, and muddle again to release the lime juice. Do not strain the mixture. Fill the glass almost to the top with ice. Pour the rum over the ice, and fill the glass with carbonated water. Stir, taste, and add more sugar if desired. Garnish with the remaining lime wedge.
