Reviewer’s Thoughts

Only the pure should survive. Through the death of her father, the dissolution of the governing council and the apparent war between the different factions of the Amoveo, Marianna has kept silent. Refusing to publicly choose a side in the between the factions, Marianne has become a target for purists willing to do anything to keep the bloodlines pure. Ordinary, average and very much human, Pete is the last person Marianne expected would be her mate. But you can’t always get what you want. Pete was assigned by her brother to protect her and that’s exactly what he will do, even if he has to protect her from her own stupidity.

Although I won’t pretend to understand how a supposed grown adult thinks that by pretending nothing is wrong, the world is all peaches and cream, I am glad when Marianna is shown the error of her ways. In danger and under attack she is essentially kidnapped and hidden away by Pete. Locked up and in close quarters they have nothing but time to explore the chemistry between them. When an enemy poses a danger to their newfound relationship, Pete discovers some truths about himself that he never expected.

In typical Sara Humphreys fashion, Undone is action packed and filled with characters you feel strongly about. Although this is book 4 in the Amoveo series, Humphreys provides plenty of background and description that even one not familiar with the series will be able to follow along and enjoy the story without being hung up on what happened in prior books.

Splash of Cranberry Juice
