Reviewer’s Thoughts

Distance and lack of communication play a big role with Jack and Grace.  Neither of them do very well dealilng with their separation.  Then there is the fact that even when they are together, they had to be very cloak and dagger to ensure they aren’t seen together.   All of that takes a toll on them, in addition to whatever work pressure they’re feeling.  But in this book, it seems to hit Grace especially hard.

Grace loves Jack.  She loves who she is with him and who they are when they’re together.  But in the back of her mind, she’s still that overweight girl wonder why in the hell the hot Brit is with her.  She has her moments where she doubts everything, despite how she feels about Jack.  She had a bit of growing up to do.   But more importantly, she needed to have faith in Jack and his feeling for her.

This installment in the Redhead Series has a much bigger emotional punch to it than the first book.  The comedy was still here with some outstanding nicknames (Holly Go-Cockblocker), but the tear-jerking scenes made a brilliant story absolutely fantabulous.
