Reviewer’s Thoughts

This is the second book in the Grady Legacy, and wow it did not disappoint at all.  It could be read as a stand alone but to understand all of the family drama you should really read the first book which was just as good as this one and it gives you a great back story when reading this book.  The plot only thickens in this book in the series and I could not put it down, I needed to find out what would happen next and completely fell in love with the main characters.

Jake and Paige have amazing chemistry between them, right from the start you can feel it.  Jake has such a tortured soul and because of his mistakes in the past and his relationship with his family he is conflicted with his feelings on Bull’s Hollow and whether he belongs or not.  He definitely has trust issues when it comes to his family and insecurities that he needs to work out.  I loved Paige as well, she has had to endure many hardships growing up and she herself has lots of trust issues when it comes to opening up her heart.  She is a survivor though and she is a strong, sexy, witty and caring woman and just what Jake needed to get through his troubles.

The character development is amazing and the plot took so many interesting twists and turns that I could not help but be drawn in, waiting to read what would happen next.  The intimate sex scenes are so well written and Jake and Paige make the pages burn.  I also love the non sexual side of their relationship, they both make mistakes but the way they stand beside each other and support each other through everything that goes on in their lives captivates you as a reader.  I literally cried through some of the scenes, then some parts in this book made me laugh.  It made me really feel something for all of the characters, and my emotions were a complete roller coaster throughout the entire book.

This book delivered everything you want in a romance.  I would highly recommend this book and the first book in the series as well.  It was an incredibly great book to read, I can’t wait to read the next installment to see what the author has planned next for the Grady family in Bull’s Hollow.
