From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds comes the sizzling final installment to the humorous and heart-filled How to Catch an Alpha series.

Anna McAlister needs a new life. But that doesn’t mean she needs a new man. After leaving her fiancé and Chicago behind, she promises herself no dating until she finds what she’s looking for. But meeting one seriously hot and determined detective has her questioning herself.
Calvin Miller is that detective, and he’s been burned by women in the past. It’s easy for him to sleep alone and focus on his work, but the moment he lays eyes on Anna, he starts imagining sexy nights with her wrapped in his sheets. Maybe it’s time to get back out there.
But just as the attraction between them begins to sizzle, Anna’s past shows up to create trouble. And to make matters worse, a string of murders forces Calvin to juggle his new relationship and his career. His worst fear? That the two are somehow connected.
Can they find love together, or will her past and his duty sink their hopes?

What happens when two lost souls find each other? Aurora Rose Reynolds writes a smoothly written story in her newest book Hooking Him. I have to admit, I love everything she writes and I am happy to say, I was not disappointed with her newest edition.  It’s a sentimental story that pulled me in from the first page and the characters are realistic and vulnerable and share sizzling chemistry.

Calvin is a gruff cop, but once you get to know him, you can see the sweetness hidden inside.  He was hurt in the past and is afraid to give his heart away again. He is hot, forward and aggressive and he is also a really good guy.

Anna has moved to a small coastal town in South Carolina from Chicago after she decided she needed to make some changes in her life.  She enjoys everything about small town life and the genuineness of the people who live there. She left her life of wealth for a simpler life and she doesn’t regret it.

Calvin and Anna are perfect together. They click and help each other overcome the hurts from the past. This is a feel good, tantalizing story with sizzling chemistry. I loved the story and all the colorful characters and I am sure you will, too.
