I’m always up for a Louise Bay book because she always gives readers these British heroes that are so much more than they seem. Andrew was no different. Despite his exterior standoffishness, the man had a squishy core that was just waiting for the right woman to break down his walls. He didn’t stand a chance against Sofia.
I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure how this relationship was going to work between Sofia and Andrew. Her bursting into his office and taking over a job she was never offered seemed like a recipe for disaster. But Louise Bay made it work by crafting a way for these two to get what they wanted by still playing by Andrews’s rules. Sure, his rules were in place for a good reason, but he needed to learn from his previous mistakes and know when it was ok to break them. Sofia pushed him outside his comfort zone and it was a fun ride to see these two find their happily ever after.
