FEARLESS
“We can surrender or we can fight.”
This is the creed that drives Chieftain Kieran MacAuley in his lifelong fight to free Ireland from the English. Known as The Fearless One, he leads his men into a battle that only he survives. While he waits for death to claim him, a courageous lass steps from the shadows.
A skilled healer, she will tell him only her first name: Brynna. Her mysterious past intrigues him, and her kind heart entrances him. When he finds himself suddenly home with no memory of his time away, he’s bewildered. One night a soft voice reaches through his hazy memory, lovingly whispering his name. The next night he hears only quiet sobbing, and then it falls silent. He cannot recall the woman who matches that voice, but his famed warrior instincts know some things for certain.
Brynna needs him. And he must do anything to find her.

Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Kieran is a chieftain in Ireland, Fighting for the freedom, of his people and country. Wanting the best for his people and for them not to be under the English’s thumb.
Brynna half fairy half mortal. Goes out to live on her own after her father tries to use her and her powers, to get what he wants.
Brynna saves Kieran’s life when the English killed all the rest of his party, upon being brought back from the brink of death, He becomes very interested, on how Brynna was able to save his life. Brynna cares for Kieran until she thinks he well enough to head back to his home, erasing the memories he has of her, she leaves in the middle of the night. Kieran doesn’t remember  at first, but feels a pull towards an area and goes out and finds Brynna tied to a tree badly beaten. After that his memories slowly come back.
Brynna and Kieran, slowly become closer and closer.
The relationships Brynna builds while staying with Kieran’s clan is pretty cool for she seemed to be a bit of a loner, trying not to get very close to people
Kieran and Brynna’s relationship is sweet, and at the same time full of twists and turns. Kieran alway trying to protect Brynna, and in turn Brynna tries to stay independent not really wanting to depend on those around. They both struggle for what they want, till the both decide it would be better to find middle ground
There is boundless amounts of passion between the two, but they both resist it for fear of the outcome.
Fearless is intriguing, fast paced, and a very well written book. I had a hard time putting it down and getting work done i just wanted to keep reading. The only problem I had was the way the book ended it seemed like it end when important stuff was about to happen. Otherwise Fearless was an awesome read
I give Fearless five cocktails!
